Fine old fashioned men's watch from the 1930s with a square case and an authentic dial. The case is made of steel (gloss and matte) and shows common signs of wear. The case measurements are: width: 28 mm (excl. crown) and from strap to strap is 35 mm. Dial is two-tone (cream and silver) with common signs of age. The square mineral glass is still neat with only a few minor scratches. Large crown that winds easily – - – setting the time on these old timepieces is best done by turning the time forward. The Swiss movement is clean and oiled and runs on time. (although it will not be as accurate as a quartz watch). Fitted with a black strap that has never been worn. Strap is New Old Stock from the 1950s/60s and is a little stiff. Suited for wrists up to 19.5 cm in circumference. In short: a classic Art Deco men's watch, clearly not a modern watch. This type of watch can be worn by women nowadays. It is certainly a jewel on every wrist and a real eye-catcher. Will be shipped by registered post.
