It features a round gold plated case made from stainless steel , housing a 1560 F caliber clock mechanism with 25 jewels. Dating back to 1960's, this is a wonderful example of a stylish and collectible vintage Britix watch. They moved to Lengnau later on in 1945. In 1949, they had around 22 employees. Except for Britix, they also made more watches under different brand names, back then there was a large scale collaboration in the Swiss watch brand sector. Some believe there was a collaboration between Breitling, Wakmann, and Britix. As the story goes, Breitling made the watches and Wakmann sold them under the name Britix or Wakmann Britix.
