Villeroy Boch Benedikt animal elephant porcelain figurines for sale. 1 x Dad Elephant which is 40 cm high. 1 x Mom Elephant, also 40 cm high. 1 x Little mom which is 15 cm high. 1 x Little dad which is 12 cm high. They are highly detailed, various other animals have been added to the figurines. They were produced by Villeroy Boch and designed by Rosemarie Benedict. These are special editions, the large elephants are rare. They are still new and in undamaged/perfect condition. These are really beautiful pieces. They will be packaged very well. Rosemarie Benedikt began her training at the Vienna Fashion School emperor with the trade in textile design. After five years of training from 1954 to 1959, she was selected from several candidates to work for the porcelain factory Rörstrand in Lidköping. Here she first came in contact with this material, which was decisive for her further artistic path. Until 1964 she worked as a designer for the factory in Sweden. After returning to Vienna, she was appointed as a lecturer at the University of Applied Arts, from 1975 to 2000, she taught there as an assistant professor. Since the mid-1970s, it operates his own studio in Vienna. In the years 1987 and 1988 she took study courses in the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle. Since 1993 she has worked as a designer for Villeroy & Boch. Starting with 2006, in addition to the original porcelain figures there were also monumental sculptures partially made in Murano glass. 2005 her work was awarded the Culture Prize of Austria.
