In the late 1980s, Lemania started a collaboration with Jean-Daniel Dubois and the Danish sailing champion Paul Elvström, with the aim of redesigning the Yachttimer model. The new model was born in the early 1990s, equipped with the original Lemania 1345 Flyback movement, but with an updated case and a rotating bezel with tactical system, P. E. (Paul Elvström) engraved. This is one of these specimens. Features: All stainless steel. Oversize case of 43 mm excluding crown, height: 19 mm. Automatic in-house movement, Lemania 1345 Flyback movement with 17 jewels. Elvström case. Scratch resistant, anti-glare sapphire crystal. Resistant to salt water up to 100 m/333 ft (stated by the maker, not tested personally). Shock resistant. Pressure-fit 'push and turn' bezel, adjustable to 360 degrees. Visual system typical of 10 minute regatta countdown at 12 o'clock. 'Sunburst' silver dial. The watch is in extraordinary condition, like new. The watch works well and keeps time.
