Philips TV, type 17TD210a, nickname: "Raffael-S" (special) Built by Philips for the German market in 1956-1957. The electronic parts of the TV have been checked and are fully functional. The TV shows beautiful, nostalgic images. It is a slightly smaller model TV: 51 x 41 x 45 cm (width x height x depth) The walnut-veneer case is finished with gold-coloured piping. There is some craquelure and minor damage in the high-gloss paint, as can be expected from a 60-year-old device. It does give the device a lot of character/platinum. The TV comes with all cords and a converter (modulator), making it possible to connect it to a modern DVD player. Given the possibility of damaging the set, pick-up of the TV is preferred. I will however account for sturdy packaging and make the TV available for shipping if the buyer arranges the transport and carries the risks himself.
