HANS ZATZKA(1959-1949)Austrian painter[also known as:Zabateri] Hans Zatzka painted paintings under the pseudonym Zabateri,specialized in painting postcards,prototypes for photographic prints.Lithographs are reproductions imitating oil paintings,very popular in the nineteenth century.They were made in the form of prints on paper or canvas by the technique of multi-colored printing with paints with addition of oil.Hans Zatzka painted not only secular paintings-very sweet and idyllic,depicting women,fairies,mythological motifs,but also religious ones.His oil paintings, watercolors were exhibited at auctions all over the world and sold very well, in Austria they reached the level of several thousand euros.About 400 oil paintings,lithographs and watercolors have been so far auctioned.Due to the great popularity of the painter,many paintings by Hans Zatzka,went straight to private collectors and therefore they were never reproduced. Tha painting for sale:"Fairy Dance Goddess Semi Nude Nymphs Group of Lovely Girls"is original Hans Zatzka,very large lithograph,from around 1900s with vivid and vibrant coloring.Beautiful woodland moon lite darker night,scene a happy,tranquil picture,depicting size beautiful fairies dancing barefoot around in circle.Signed on the right-bottom corner:"Zabateri"(Hans Zatzka pseudonym). There are modern copies image(copied on other sites)with just the fairies dancing.This original lithograph from 1900 for sale,has on the very far right edge,three satyrs sitting behind the bushes,watching the nymph dancing. The painting has small scratch on the left side,and the frame on the bottom because its age has lack of few ornaments.The frame is under glass. Total dimensions: Height:67cm Width:134cm
