In very neat condition SA7001KI amplifier. Work entirely properly and comes with original remote control and power cable. (Matching PM7001KI Signature Amplifier offered in this same auction!) The SA7001Ki is the first SACD player of Marantz where master tuner Ken Ishiwata has worked on. On the outside is that, next to the logo on the front, betrayed by the copper bottom plate and rear. Copper makes it less likely for electromagnetic radiation to penetrate the player. On the inside Ken has in crucial places parts replaced by better copies. The digital-to-analog conversion is provided by a CS4397 "Super DAC" from Cirrus Logic. The same DAC can be found in the higher situated SA15S1 and in the predecessor of the SA7001Ki; the well known SA8400. Of course this player is also equipped with the Marantz HDAM diagnostic modules. The player is equipped with a toroidal transformer. All analog and digital circuits are separated and shielded so that it cannot affect each other.
