Wooden planks in various woods, carried for a long time by the waves, seemingly preparing to end their life cycle until they were saved, tidied, polished and treated with natural waxes to restore them to their former glory. The work shines upward, and is reminiscent of the outside of a tower and, just like the biblical Tower of Babel, it has within it elements from different places, speaking different languages and telling different stories. The limestone pieces set between the boards and the Hessian at the light sources make Babele a design object with an antique air, but that is quietly at home in modern spaces where it draws even more strength, bringing out all its originality and beauty, thanks to the contrast
Entirely treated and finished with natural waxes and oils.
